Following the quality policy already applied in cement activity, Halyps Quarries have been the first quarry in Attica market in obtaining quality management certification ISO 9000 for its Mandra site, largest aggregates quarry in Greece and among the largest in Europe. That achievement is paving the road for introduction of the CE mark for aggregates in the Greek market and will allow to guarantee Greek public works, contractors and administrations the same standards of quality than the ones prevailing in most advances EU countries.

Halyps Cement has been the first Greek cement producer in offering the opportunity to Greek civil engineers, architects and building materials experts to share with Italcementi Group Research and Development Center experts the latest innovations and know – how in concrete applications developed by Italcementi Group worldwide through a Technical Seminar organized in Athens with close to 300 participants.
