Halyps Cement actively participates in the effort to reconstruct the fire afflicted areas.

In the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility framework, Halyps Cement continues  participating in fire afflicted areas rehabilitation offering bagged cement to the Municipality of Feneos, at Corinthos Prefecture. These projects aim at remedying the damage caused in the areas and at executing  flood protection works in the affected area. The Municipality of Feneos is a mountainous area, with exceptional flora and fauna of unique beauty. Because of the fire that broke out on August 10th 2007, an important forest land was destroyed with serious repercussions both on the ecosystem's balance and on citizens' lives.
