In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility policy, we acknowledge that promoting equality between men and women constitutes a significant tool to boost employment and sustainable development in our organization.
For this reason, HALYPS SA participated in an innovative State program to reinforce equality at work place. This program refers to the elaboration of positive actions on gender equality by enterprises and was put in place by General Secretariat for Gender Equality, of the Interior Ministry.
The Program ‘Positive Actions for equal opportunities between men and women in small, medium-sized and large enterprises’, falls under Measure 1 of Axis 5 of the Operational Program ‘Employment and Vocational Training’ by the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection and is co-financed by 75% from the European Social Fund (ESF) and by 25% from the Greek State, in the framework of the 3rd CSF. The General Secretariat for Gender Equality is responsible for the project implementation.
The actions implemented in the context of HALYPS Equality Plan are the following:
HALYPS positive actions for the benefit of women regard the following :
- Equal participation of men and women in professional hierarchy evolution and in taking on responsibility posts.
- Participation of women in vocational training programs.
- Adoption of changes in the work environment organization by incorporating equal opportunities practices.
- Consulting
- Services aiming at assisting men and women employees to find the optimal work-life balance.
