The Board of Directors of the société anonyme operating under
the firm name “HALYPS Building Materials S.A.”, with registered
offices in Aspropyrgos, in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Memorandum (Article 30), invites Messrs. Shareholders on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 10:00 at the company’s premises, in Aspropyrgos, 17th km Athens - Korinth National Road for the Extraordinary General Assembly in order to decide on the following subjects of the agenda.
Today, HeidelbergCement has completed the acquisition of a 45% stake in Italcementi from Italmobiliare.
Halyps Cement European Environmental Award
On Wednesday 24th September 2014, Halyps Cement has been awarded with the Process Award for Sustainable Development for the construction of 5 silos for the storage of raw materials and combustibles at the company’s cement plant in Aspropyrgos.The 5th award ceremony of “European Business Awards for the Environment 2013-2014” took place at Eugenides Foundation at the presence of the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Mr. Ioannis Maniatis.
Inauguration Ceremony of New Silos for Raw Materials and Combustibles
On Wednesday 27th November our company inaugurated a new installation consisted of 5 brand new silos for raw materials and combustibles. The event was realized at the presence of high governmental authorities and with the participation of Italcementi Group’s top management as well as of employees of all activities of the Group in Greece.

Italcementi opens its Research Centre: i.lab, the heart of innovation and sustainability
The Italian Minister for the Environment, Corrado Clini, unveiled today the Group’s new laboratory, a place where over a hundred people are engaged in research and technological transfer activities in the building materials sector. The innovative solutions accomplished across 23,000 sq.m. of i.lab are clear evidence of how cement can be an element that generates sustainable architecture and smart buildings.
