Invitation to the Regular General Assembly of Shareholders of the Company

The Board of Directors of the société anonyme operating under the firm name “HALYPS Building Materials S.A.”, whose offices are situated in Aspropyrgos, in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Memorandum (Article 30), invites Messrs. Shareholders on Monday, April 29, 2013, at 10:00 at the company’s premises, in Aspropyrgos, 17^th km Athens - Korinth National Road for the Regular General Assembly.

A charity football match was realized on Thursday 29^th of November between the FC AIAS of Aspropyrgos and iκαρος, a voluntary team of Halyps Building Materials S.A. In the first half of the game, Aspropyrgos team scored giving itself a 2-0 lead, whereas in the second half the veterans of FC AIAS played against iκαρος team and were defeated by the latter with 3-2.

Halyps Building Materials S.A., 1^st Stakeholders Forum

On May 16 2012, the 1^st Stakeholders forum with Local bodies and representatives from 3 Municipalities where the company operates took place for the first time at Halyps Cement plant. In the context of Sustainability Policy and systematic communication with Local Communities, this event aimed at open dialogue in order to impart information about the company's actions with regard to the Environment.

  
Italcementi opens its Research Centre: i.lab, the heart of innovation and sustainability

The Italian Minister for the Environment,  Corrado Clini, unveiled today the Group’s new laboratory, a place where over a hundred people are engaged in research and technological transfer activities in the building materials sector. The innovative solutions accomplished across 23,000 sq.m. of i.lab are clear evidence of how cement can be an element that generates sustainable architecture and smart buildings.
